1. A proper fit.
2. Good lift capacity (to maintain your buoyancy)
3. Well made with quality materials.
4. Pressure valves within easy reach.
5. Easy to adjust.
6. Comfortable quick release straps.
7. Pockets that close with zippers or velcro.
